Andi’s Story: “I don’t dread going to work out!”

Andi shares her story with us today! We love Andi’s bubbly personality and excitement for Pilates.

“For the first time in my life, I have been able to stay in shape without really thinking about it. I don’t dread going to work out. I look forward to chatting with my friends while contouring my body into strange shapes and then laughing about it! When I have the familiar “man, I really should be working out” thoughts come into my head, I have to remind myself that “oh yeah, I already do!”

I’ve been involved with all kinds of exercise in my life from power lifting in high school and college, to cross fit with a smattering of “Richard Simmons” and “Billy Mays” runs, and Pilates really is the only “workout that doesn’t break any workout rules” while staying comprehensive.

One of my favorite things about Pella Pilates has to be my friend Natalie. She’s just so gifted at what she does. She’s made for encouragement! After that, it’s just for the fun atmosphere, the camaraderie, and the “feel goods” after a session is over. When I leave, I’m happy having done something healthy for myself, energized from having some laughs with my friends, and determined to have a healthy day.”
